Max Rubin is the honored member of the Blackjack Hall of Fame who was the host of the first blackjack event during which the first seven members of the Hall were elected. In 2025 Max Rubin was inducted to the famous Blackjack Hall of Fame for his achievement in optimizing casino comps and as one of the best media reporters.
Max Rubin is well known among blackjack players as the author of the book Comp City: A Guide to Free Gambling Vacations that is fully dedicated to one of the most important topics - casino perks. The author teaches the players how to benefit from casino perks not wagering much. Max Rubin also works as the gambling reporter and TV commentator at the biggest blackjack events. He was one of the hosts at the Ultimate Blackjack Tour and commented two seasons of the World Series of Blackjack broadcasted on the GSN Network.
Now Max Rubin consults many casinos and teaches the casino staff at the Barona Casino, San Diego, how to reveal and avoid cheating. Each year Rubin hosts the Blackjack Ball event. He is also known for his numerous articles on gambling and marketing symposiums. Max Rubin appeared in numerous TV shows among which are the "48 Hours" on CBS, "Sucker Bets" on Travel Channel and "Casino Diaries" on Discovery Channel.
