70-Year Old Man Was Robbed After Winning $10,000 In Blackjack
A 70-year-old man was lucky having won $10,000 in blackjack and was walking to his car when he was attacked. The event happened at the Trump Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City at the parking garage after 8 a.m.
The man has just cashed the chips and went to his car to drive back home when the thief hit him over the head, knocked the victim to the ground and stole and money. Shortly the man was rushed to the hospital with a broken pelvis.
According to the police, the victim reported having seen the felon before in the casino room as he was watching him play and followed him when he decided to leave the casino.
The thief drove away in a taxi and was heading to Baltimore, but the driver received the bulletin from the police and decided to take him straight to the police station. The thief must have overheard the driver's conversation and became suspicious and got out of the car in Gloucester Township. Police has searched the area but found no one.
All the police and local transport services have received the approximate info on the suspect. He is black, about 5 foot 10 inches, 200 pounds, and is in his late 20s, brown hair and eyes. If you have any information please contact the police at 609-347-5766.
