Obama For Gamblers

Las Vegas has been silent and stopped breathing for the moment of the inauguration of the first USA black president. It was on Tuesday, when all the machines stopped and the sports books switched to CNN and even on the promotional video screens outside switched to the swearing-in of Barack Obama as the 44th president.

All the dealers, staff, gamblers and tourists watched the inauguration as this was a very important moment for all the citizens of America.They all heard him calling Americans to make good on “the God-given promise that all are equal, all are free and all deserve a chance to pursue their full measure of happiness.”

The whole Las Vegas Strip was watching the monitors with Barack Obama's oath. No words could describe that moment of hope and happiness. People froze in thrill and excitement of the starting moment of a new life. This is without a doubt one of the things that will not be forgotten for a long time.

However, the show goes on and as soon as the oath was over, the crowd has finished applauding, the channels were switched to the ESPN and the machines started spinning the reels again.
